One for all and All for one

My mother travels a lot. She goes to places where it may not be in the maps of India. When she’s back she tells me the stories about the people she met. But there was this one time when she went to a place near the Himalayas and she heard this story about how when a girl goes through puberty, they are restricted from doing so much like going outside, talking, going to school and even passing the pickle because apparently if a girl has periods and she touches the pickle it’ll get spoiled. But, when a boy hits puberty they are given gifts like a scooter or a phone. This incident got me thinking about how in every single place in the world, even the biggest countries and cities there is always discrimination on sex and it isn’t fair because we’re all equal. This fact on discrimination is so horrible that when you ask a five year old girl if a boy and a girl are different she’ll say ‘no’, but if you ask the same girl when she is 10 plus she’ll tell you ‘ yes’, because she has been told that boys are better or a girl is not as good as a boy. This fact is so sad because in a country like India which is so great in its economy has a thinking so petty. We need to start doing something about it. We women need to start to stand up for each other and prove to the world that we are no less than a boy/man and that we can do anything they can. If we don’t stand up for each other no one else will. So basically all I’m trying to say is ‘One for all and All for one’.
