About Durga
We are a unique citizen’s initiative to enable women and girls to understand behavior and harness important life skills to deter sexual crime. Our interventions are multi-pronged. While we work closely with women and girls to build agency in them to address sexual crimes, we work with men, public spaces and governments that can all work towards creating gender-just spaces. The Durga family aims to inspire change in all arenas of a woman’s life; from their home to their place of work, by placing responsibility not on women, but in the hands of the communities that surround them.
